All the accused were remanded until May 21, 2026, as investigations continue.
Investigations Still Ongoing
State Attorney Isaac Asasira informed the court that investigations into the matter are still ongoing.
He asked for an adjournment to allow police and prosecutors more time to complete inquiries.
The magistrate accordingly set May 21, 2026, for further mention of the case.

The prosecution alleges that Bryan White is facing several serious charges, including:
Human sacrifice
- Manslaughter

Case Involving Multiple Accused Persons
The court heard that Bryan White is jointly charged with Nakato, Nalunga, and Abaho with conspiracy to commit a felony and giving false information to police.
Nambalirwa is separately charged with manslaughter and negligent acts causing death.

Prosecution Allegations
Prosecutors told the court that the alleged offenses were committed on October 22, 2025, in Kyamula Zone, Makindye Division, Kampala.
They claim Bryan White killed Nalubwama for purposes linked to ritual practices or witchcraft.
It is further alleged that the deceased suffered fatal burns while at Kiruddu Hospital.
Claims of Negligence and Drug Possession
The court also heard that Bryan White allegedly handled combustible substances carelessly.
He is said to have failed to take precautions against possible danger from the materials in his possession.
He is also accused of possessing marijuana leaves and seeds allegedly stored in bottles.
Alleged Ritual Incident
The prosecution further claims that Bryan White and co-accused participated in a ritual act involving the deceased before her death.
They are alleged to have used candle wax, petrol, and ghee in a room where the deceased was being massaged.
The accused are also said to have consumed honey during the incident.
Alleged False Information to Police
The accused are further charged with giving false information to police officers during the early stages of investigations.
Prosecutors say they misled detectives about how the victim sustained injuries and where she was treated.
Authorities argue that this delayed proper investigation into the case.
Hospital Negligence Allegations
Nambalirwa is accused of failing to refer the victim to a major hospital for specialized treatment.
The state says this alleged negligence contributed to the victim’s death.
Next Court Mention
The case will return to court on May 21, 2026, for further mention as investigations continue.
