Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran has completed his transfer to Saudi Professional League side Al-Nassr for €77m, including add-ons, making him one of the most expensive signings of the January transfer window.
Jhon Jader Durán Palacios, who was born on 13 December 2003, is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Colombia national team.
The 21-year-old Colombian international, who joined Villa for the 2022/23 season from Chicago Fire, leaves after an impressive spell in the Premier League.

Duran’s signing comes as a surprise to many considering he had recently signed a contract extension with Villa until 2030 on 7 October 2024.
The substantial fee received for Duran is expected to provide Villa with significant funds to reinvest in the squad.
Duran will join Al-Nassr, where he will team up with global superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, potentially forming a formidable attacking partnership in the Saudi Pro League.
