Content creator Shalom Kaweesi has filed an assault case against musician Biswanka following a heated altercation during an interview.
According to reports, the incident happened during a recorded sit-down when Kaweesi raised claims about rumors questioning Biswanka’s sexuality, a topic that reportedly did not sit well with the singer.
The situation quickly escalated, with Biswanka allegedly confronting the interviewer, leading to a physical scuffle. Members of Kaweesi’s team are said to have intervened, resulting in a chaotic exchange captured in videos that later circulated on social media.
In the clips, several individuals are seen restraining Biswanka, while others attempt to control the situation. Those present claimed the artist had initiated the confrontation, insisting they would not let him leave until a missing microphone from the set was recovered.
The incident has sparked mixed reactions online, with some criticizing the interviewer for raising sensitive and unverified claims during a live interview, while others condemned the violence.

Following the clash, Kaweesi reported the matter to police at Kisaasi, opening an assault case against the musician. The case was registered under reference number SD REF09/29/03/2026.
The incident has once again raised concerns about professionalism in Uganda’s online media space.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing as authorities work to establish the full circumstances surrounding the confrontation.
