Maurice Kirya has come out to praise himself on social media, saying he is the greatest Ugandan musician of all time. The singer has been in the music industry for more than 15 years, but he hasn’t been releasing music every year.
However, after divorcing his wife, he returned to the country and picked up his career from where he had left. Two months ago, the singer did a concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel, and it was very successful.
There has been a problem in Uganda where the old artists feel like the young musicians don’t appreciate them enough. They always demand respect from them, and these young artists sometimes don’t care.
Instead of waiting to be appreciated and praised, Maurice Kirya took it the easy way and did it himself. He tweeted, saying he knows he is the greatest Ugandan musician of all time, and he gives himself flowers without any hesitation.
In conclusion, he joined the film industry; that’s where he has been spending most of his time in the past few years. The singer also moved out of Uganda for some years to focus on his family and marriage.
