Saudi Arabian club Al Arabi has confirmed the signing of Italian and PSG player Marco Verratti on a deal worth €45 million.
Al Arabi have completed the signing of Paris Saint-Germain defensive midfielder Marco Verratti; however, he is the latest player to join the Asian region.
The resilient 30-year-old Italian player has finally left the French capital football giants after spending 11 years there.
Marco Verratti, the defensive midfielder who won the Euro 2020 title with Italy, has been sidelined in the PSG team since the arrival of new manager Luis Enrique earlier this summer.
However, Marco Verratti landed in Doha Tuesday night for his medical tests and completed his transfer yesterday to the Qatari team.
Marco verratti I told uncoveredug news reporters that I am very happy,I can’t wait to start the new season, and I hope we’ll have a great season”.
Marco Verratti joins Neymar Jr., who was frozen out of the team following the arrival of Luis Enrique, as both players were not in the plans for the new coach’s team buildup.
Marco reunites with former PSG teammates Abdou Diallo and Rafinha in Al Arabi, who left France this summer and last year, respectively.
In conclusion, Luis Enrique wants to take control of the dressing room, which has been dominantly controlled by the quality of players in recent years.
