In a tragic turn of events, at least 492 individuals lost their lives in a series of Israeli air strikes aimed at Hezbollah in Lebanon, marking the deadliest day of conflict in nearly two decades.
Amidst the chaos, numerous families were forced to evacuate as the Israeli military targeted 1,300 Hezbollah sites in an effort to dismantle the group’s infrastructure established since the 2006 war.
World leaders have been emphasising the need for restraint as both sides edge closer to a full-blown war. Lebanon’s health ministry reported casualties including 35 children and 58 women, with thousands more wounded and displaced.
