However, the robbers wanted money and got violent when the workers didn’t give in. Babirye Patricia, one of the workers, got shot in the leg, and the robbers took about 20 million Ugandan shillings from their vehicle.
Sadly, two robbers died at the scene, and another one died later at Mulago Hospital. The police found IDs and voter cards on them, showing their names as Bakka Mark and Ssemanda Brian. The weapon they used is kept as evidence.

Furthermore, even though the robbers were caught, the stolen money hasn’t been found. It seems some people took it during the fight. The police want everyone to stay calm and help them find justice.
Right now, the injured workers are getting medical help, and the police are looking into everything.
In conclusion, the motorcycle is at the Katwe police station to help with the investigation. It’s a really sad situation, and everyone working together is important to make things right for the victims and their families.
