Ronald Mayinja has blasted National Unity Platform (NUP) president Bobi Wine, real name Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu. He has said the singer and politician add nothing to his life, and he doesn’t care about him or the people who support him.
Ronald Mayinja joined politics some years ago, moving from one political party to another. He at one point joined NUP, and he was warmly welcomed by the president himself, Bobi Wine.
Apparently, months ago, Ronald Mayinja moved to the UK with his family, and rumour has it that he has also moved there for good and might not be able to return to Kampala.
But early this week, Ronald Mayinja returned, and he immediately went to the media to do interviews.
In one of the interviews, the singer said he is not worried about Bobi Wine and his political party, as they have nothing to do with him.
But when he left NUP and joined NRM, the ruling party led by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, fans and supporters of NUP were not happy with him. Additionally, they started attacking him on social media, something that somehow affected his music career.
In conclusion, he said he would not apologize to them because he didn’t do anything bad to them. He even said if he wants to go build in Munyonyo, he can do so without being disturbed.
