Paris Saint-Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been named UEFA Champions League Player of the Season. He earned the award after a standout campaign that ended with PSG lifting the 2025/26 title.
The 25-year-old Georgian international was a key figure throughout the tournament. He scored 10 goals and provided six assists in 16 appearances. His biggest impact came in the knockout stages, where he netted seven times to help PSG reach the final.

PSG secured the title after a dramatic penalty shootout win over Arsenal on May 30. The victory capped a strong European campaign for the French side.
Kvaratskhelia succeeded teammate Ousmane Dembélé, who won the award last season. Both players were included in UEFA’s Team of the Season, alongside Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, and Vitinha.
Since joining Napoli in 2022, Kvaratskhelia has developed into one of Europe’s top attacking talents. He helped the club win a historic Serie A title, ending a 30-year wait.

At international level, he has also played a key role for Georgia. He guided them to their first-ever UEFA European Championship appearance and a place in the knockout stage.
With this latest recognition, Kvaratskhelia becomes only the second Georgian player to win multiple Champions League titles. He joins Kakha Kaladze, who achieved the feat with AC Milan in 2003 and 2007.
