Paris Saint-Germain, (PSG) advanced to the Champions League final after a 2-1 victory over Arsenal in Paris, overcoming an early onslaught from the Gunners and surviving late drama to book their place in Munich.
Arsenal started brightly, dominating the opening 15 minutes and putting PSG under sustained pressure. Despite the visitors’ early intent, it was Fabian Ruiz who broke the deadlock for PSG with a powerful volley before the half-hour mark.
The match turned tense in the second half when Arsenal’s David Raya saved a penalty from Vitinha in the 69th minute, keeping the Gunners’ hopes alive.

Just three minutes later, Achraf Hakimi doubled PSG’s lead with a clinical finish, seemingly putting the tie beyond Arsenal’s reach.
Saka reignited Arsenal’s hopes with a well-taken goal in the 76th minute, setting up a nervy finale at the Parc des Princes.
Saka then missed a golden opportunity to equalize moments later, failing to convert from close range. Additionally, PSG managed to withstand Arsenal’s late surge, securing a 2-1 win on the night and a 3-1 aggregate triumph.
In conclusion, Luis Enrique’s side will now face Inter Milan in the Champions League final at Munich’s Allianz Arena on 31 May.
