Mohammed Kudus Joins West Ham From Ajax On A Five Year Deal
West Ham United officially completes the signing of Ajax midfielder Mohammed Kudus on a five-year deal worth a €45 fee.
The Ghana international has put pen to paper €41.5 million and €3 million in performance related add-ons on a five-year deal with an option of another 12 months at the end of the contract.
West Ham boss David Moyes has been interested in the player for some time and has finally brought the midfielder to his team, despite the strong competition for the player from other clubs this summer transfer window.
The Hammers have been impressive since the beginning of the new season, winning two and drawing their three opening matches.
Kudus attributes and qualities
A versatile player,he can play as an attacking midfielder or a winger on either flank; therefore, he will provide cover for West Ham this season.
He is an experienced player who has played nine times in the Champions League to date, as well as eight times in Europa League competition.
Now the head coach hopes Kudus will help his team maintain a top spot on the Premier League table this season.
As West Ham looks forward to following up a historic Europa League victory with a solid Europa campaign this season, the player’s experience will be an added advantage to the squad.
