Mohamed Salah has confirmed his exit from Liverpool at the end of the 2025/26 season following the expiry of his contract in June.
Salah joined Liverpool in June 2017 from AS Roma for a reported fee of £36.9 million. Since then, he has made over 435 appearances and scored 255 goals, becoming one of the club’s greatest players.
Achievements
During his time at Anfield, the Egyptian forward has won major trophies, including the Premier League and UEFA Champions League.

Salah’s Statement
Speaking about his departure, Salah said:
“I will carry Liverpool with me throughout my entire life.”
“From the first day I walked into Anfield, I felt the passion and love from the supporters. There are still more memories to create before I leave.”
Salah is expected to leave as a free agent at the end of the season, meaning he will be free to choose his next club.
