Alien Skin has said that he denied singer and politician Bobi Wine a collaboration. Apparently, this is why he fell out with the People Power camp. It should be noted that the singer rose with a lot of power due to his relatable music to the ghetto.
However, he was likened to Bobi Wine, and many touted him to fill in the void left by the ghetto gladiator in the music industry. Even Bobi Wine himself complimented the Fangon Forest boss.
According to Alien Skin, Bobi sent some of his boys, such as Yung Mulo, to invite him to Kamwokya. However, the singer hesitated because he didn’t want to arrive and take away the spot from the Firebase boss. Besides, the Party singer said that he refused this offer for his own good.
Alien told us, “Well, Bobi Wine complimented me and said that he loves my music. He even sent some of his boys, asking me to hit the studio with him, but I refused. This was not good for my career because I would have jumped too many ladders. Imagine if I did a song with the principal, who would be left for me to sing with. Besides, I sing with whomever I want. NUP did many things to lure me to them, but I refused to become political. They even got to the point of calling me ghetto president.”.
In conclusion, he refused to do a song with the Malamu singer. Alien said that he turned down Diamond Platinumz for the same reasons. Someone who has sang with the likes of Davido and Patoranking coming to sing with him would only indicate he fell off.
