Brazil vs Haiti World Cup saw Brazil deliver a commanding 3-0 victory over Haiti on Friday, bouncing back strongly in their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign after a slow start.
The South American giants entered the contest under pressure following a 1-1 draw against Morocco, but they responded with a dominant display that exposed the difference in quality between the two sides.
Matheus Cunha emerged as the star of the evening, scoring twice as Brazil controlled possession and created chances throughout the match. The forward opened the scoring midway through the first half before adding his second goal minutes later.

Vinicius Junior also got on the scoresheet before halftime, finishing off a well-worked move to give Brazil a comfortable three-goal advantage heading into the break.
Despite the scoreline, Haiti showed determination and nearly found the net in the second half. However, Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker produced important saves to deny the Caribbean nation a historic World Cup goal.
Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti made several changes to his starting lineup after criticism of the team’s performance against Morocco. The adjustments paid off as the five-time world champions looked more organized, aggressive, and dangerous in attack.

The victory moves Brazil closer to qualification for the knockout stage ahead of their final Group C match against Scotland. A positive result in that encounter could see the Selecao finish top of the group.
For Haiti, the defeat marks the end of their World Cup journey. Making their first appearance on football’s biggest stage in more than five decades, they leave the tournament with valuable experience despite failing to secure a point.

Brazilian supporters will also be encouraged by the growing form of key attacking players as the tournament progresses. With Cunha and Vinicius Junior finding their rhythm, Brazil appear determined to re-establish themselves among the favorites for the title.
Attention now turns to the decisive final round of group matches, where Brazil will seek to build on this momentum and secure a place in the last 32.
