I Don’t Care About Background Noise –Patrick Salvador
Popular comedian Patrick Salvador has hit back at veteran Ugandan playwright and actor John Ssegawa by branding him as background noise. It should be noted that Ssegawa trashed the entire standup comedy industry a few days ago.
However, he was then informed that Uganda has some good stand-up comedians, such as Alex Muhangi and Patrick Salvado. For Muhangi, he said that he’s just a businessman. When it came to Salvado, Ssegawa said that the man from Ombokolo is just an influencer.
He said that they are a bunch of nonsensical fellas who gather each other and act silly jokes. Besides, they lack the principles of art and have contributed to the downfall of real comedy.

It should be noted that Ssegawa has, over time, criticized his fellow entertainers. His criticism coincidentally usually lands on musicians that aren’t leaning towards singers and politicians. Bobi Wine

In conclusion, singer Ykee Benda also addressed this issue and said that envy is a real disease. He was apparently referring to John Ssegawa.
