Thibaut Courtois has ruptured internal meniscus in his right knee

Reports reaching out to our news desk says Thibaut Courtois left this afternoon’s Real Madrid training session with an injury to his other knee and in tears.

However, the club confirmed that he has a ruptured inner meniscus, which means he will miss the rest of the season as well. Carlo Ancelotti was counting on him for the crucial part of the season.

Thibaut Courtois, in the final phase of his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, suffered a new injury setback in training on Tuesday afternoon.

According to ‘Marca’, the goalkeeper left the training session in tears with obvious signs of pain and concern in the meniscus of the other leg’s meniscus, which suggests that it is a serious injury.

The goalkeeper is awaiting tests to determine the extent of this new setback. It comes at the most sensitive time because Carlo Ancelotti was preparing his return to action for the closing stages of the season,

In conclusion, it has not been made public whether he will have to undergo surgery. It is understood that he will.
