Ronaldo leads Portugal again

Portugal will go in today’s game knowing that the victory will see them qualify to the round of 16, following their opening win against ghana of 3-2.

The Portugal star doesn’t know where he will be playing after the World cup tournament after news circulating all over the internet showing his former Club, Manchester United terminating his contract.

Uruguay made a draw in their opening game against South-Korea, but they have a good record when playing Portugal. “Remember in 2018 World Cup in Russia , they beat Portugal in the round of 16”

Like Portugal, the Uruguay squad blends the old and the new. Up front, 35-year-old Luis Suarez is joined by a new generation of talent in Darwin Nunez and Facundo Pellistri.

Ronaldo made wonders after being substituted he acted as the coach of Portugal which made all the supporters to enjoy the match and you know the guy is full of wonders he never disappoints.

Portugal labored all the efforts tp win the game but they should thank their goal keeper Diogo Costa who nearly did a shay given in the dying seconds, they managed to overcome a spirited Ghana to win at the game with 3-2.

Cristiano Ronaldo walked a way from the Portugal’s opening game of the World Cup with the man of the match award but he did little to give Manchester United any reasons to re-think his departure.

the apparently capacity crowd were utterly besotted by the former United man. Every time his face apperaed on screen and every touch of the ball dragged elicited cheers and the sui following his goal might have spent a couple of the surrounding cargo containers sprawling. click here to watch the game live
