KAMPALA — Ugandan singer Nina Roz has responded to speculation linking her romantically to comedian Reign, saying the rumours are based on assumptions about their close friendship.
The singer addressed the talk surrounding her and Reign after Lydia Jazmine’s press conference, explaining that the two are not currently in a relationship as many fans have suggested.
Nina Roz described Reign as a good friend, adding that their connection is built on friendship and shared interests, including their support for the National Unity Platform (NUP).
While dismissing claims that they are already a couple, the singer gave a playful response to the rumours, saying there was nothing wrong with being linked to someone she considers a good person.
“After all, he isn’t a bad man,” Nina Roz joked, while reacting to the growing public interest in their relationship.
The singer, however, did not completely close the door on what the future might hold, noting that life can take unexpected turns.

She said her priority at the moment is finding a God-fearing man who respects her, supports her values and stands with her through life’s journey.

For now, the singer maintains that she and Reign are simply close friends, leaving fans to continue speculating about what the future may bring.
