Kiseka Operation Nets Six Over Suspected Stolen Property

Police have arrested six suspects in an operation targeting suspected stolen motor vehicle parts in Kiseka Market in Kampala.

The operation, conducted by officers from Jinja Road Police Station, took place on March 5, 2026, between 10:00am and 3:00pm in the Central Division.

According to police, several shops suspected of dealing in stolen vehicle parts were searched during the operation. The searches resulted in the recovery of multiple items believed to have been stolen from vehicles.

Among the exhibits recovered were vehicle grills, side mirrors, number plates, spotlights, headlamps, and baby-side mirrors.

Police said the suspects have been charged with receiving and retaining suspected stolen goods and are currently being held at Jinja Road Police Station pending prosecution.
