Popular musician Fik Fameica is mourning the loss of his mother, who passed away on Saturday morning in Kibuli Muslim hospital where she was getting medication, family members confirmed.
Family sources say she had been a strong supporter of the singer’s career, often attending his performances and encouraging him during his early days in music.
In a short statement shared on social media, the King Kong boss thanked fans for their support during this difficult moment and asked for privacy for the family.

Friends remember her as a humble and caring woman who inspired many in the neighborhood. According to family members, a vigil will be held at the musician’s home in Kawempe, followed by a burial in Masaka District.
Her deteriorating condition sank Fik Fameica’s heart, and he appealed for prayers from his fans, saying his mother’s condition was alarming.
Unfortunately, his mother this morning breathed her last and was pronounced dead. Several acts, including dancehall singer Karole Kasita, rushed to Kibuli to show their support for the rapper during this challenging situation.
