Former Gagamel crew member Denzo Omukambwe has called out his former boss, Bebe Cool, questioning where he gets the authority to claim that he has control over Ugandan music.
Denzo voiced his concern after Bebe Cool appeared in a live TikTok session and claimed to have superiority over Ugandan music, stating that he can dictate which song plays on which TV and radio.
This was after Bebe bragged that he is not only a friend to almost every Ugandan DJ and music show host but also a very close friend to almost all owners and CEOs of media houses in Uganda.

Where does he get the authority to claim that he can control the music played on radios and TVs? Is he the god of the music industry?
You want something and fight for it, but you can’t fight them all. Since I quit Gagamel, I decided that I was going to halt my performances for six years.
Denzo told Uncovered Ug news reporters that “You can’t claim that you’re better than the rest, yet there are people who are better than you.”

“Musically, I’m much better than him. I dare him to a competition. I want reggae because I will crush him when it comes to dancehall,” he added.
In conclusion, he further expressed his issue by saying it was Omulangira Nduasi who advised him to quit Gagamel since Bebe Cool was paying him peanuts, just 50,000 shillings.
