Time to retire from Portugal duties- Ronaldo
Ever since Portugal lost 1-0 to Morocco on quarter finals, Cristiano Ronaldo has been quite and finally he has come to say that ” It’s time for me to retire from Portugal duties and watch the young generation playing for our country.
Cristiano Ronaldo spoke out to uncovered news broadcast networks saying “I fought hard to ensure that I win a world cup for Portuguse fans,”. I expected this would happen through this 2022 World Cup in Qatar. “Winning a World Cup for Portugal was the biggest and most ambitious dream of my career,” Ronaldo added.
“A lot has been said to everyone that I have won the Balloon d’Or five times but my dream career was to win for my country a World Cup,”
“Remember Portugal won the 2014 Euros,” he added.
Despite the loss against Morocco on quarter finals, he made history in Qatar by becoming the only men’s player to score in five consecutive World Cups after scoring against Ghana during the opening game of the tournament. What a great player Ronaldo is !.
