Exciting news from Western Uganda! Renowned singers Ray G and Omega 256 are gearing up for concerts on the same date, promising double the entertainment for their fans. Despite hailing from the same region and sharing a similar fan base, both artists express confidence that their concerts will be successful.
In the Ugandan music scene, regional artists have often felt neglected, craving more support from their counterparts in the central region. While recent times have seen some improvement in support, the spotlight has now turned inward as these talented artists find themselves in friendly competition.
Ray G has announced a grand concert scheduled for the 10th of 2024 at Lugogo Cricket Oval, tirelessly promoting the event with the backing of fellow central artists. However, just weeks before the big day, Omega 256 surprises fans with her own concert announcement on the same date, albeit in a different venue.

Addressing concerns of rivalry, Omega 256 emphasizes that her decision to host a concert simultaneously is not intended to undermine Ray G’s event. Having performed at Ray G’s concerts in the past without charge, she views her concert as a natural progression in her career and an opportunity to showcase her talent to a different audience.
In conclusion, this friendly competition highlights the vibrant diversity within Uganda’s music industry and underscores the need for mutual support and appreciation among artists. With two electrifying concerts to choose from, fans are in for a musical treat on this exciting date! 🎤
