The suspect in the New Orleans vehicle attack has been identified as a 42-year-old US citizen from Texas, Shamsud-Din Jabbar.
However, news reaching our reporters indicates that the FBI said an Islamic State (IS) group flag was found in the vehicle, and they are investigating the attack as an “act of terrorism.”
The driver is believed to have driven a pickup truck at high speed into large crowds, killing 15 people as well as leaving at least 35 other people injured before he was shot dead by police.

Furthermore, investigators say they believe the New Orleans suspect was not “solely responsible” for the attack, and potential explosive devices were found in the truck and elsewhere in the area.
President Biden says investigators are looking into whether the attack is possibly linked to the explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck outside the Trump Hotel in Las Vegas but says, “Thus far, there is nothing to report.
In conclusion, we encourage the government of the United States to take serious measures on such attacks to ensure that there’s stability and peace in the country.
