Senegal’s head coach Aliou Cisse confirms that Bayern star Sadio Mane will not be able to part of the squad as he is still recovering from the knee injury.
Bayern FC said that ,”their star had an operation in Austria to reattach a tendon to his bone on the knee. we have missed seeing him at Qatar and its a great blow to Senegal as a team”.
“Remember Sadio Mane was taken off with an apparent knee injury in the 20th minutes as they were playing Werder Bremen just 12days to the world cup in Qatar”
Mane helped Senegal to qualify for the World Cup by taking the second penalty two months ago defeating Egypt of Mohammed Salah and the game ended 1-0 and during that game Mendy was on form and was the man of the match during that game.
Mane who left Liverpool and went to the Germany team has been on form where by scoring a goal at least every game they play making him to be a good player now.
