According to police reports, the victim is currently receiving treatment at Nsambya hospital. She also experienced physical and psychological trauma, fearing people and crying whenever someone tried to talk to her.
During the court proceedings, state attorney Kate Basuta emphasised the severity of the case, highlighting the victim’s age and vulnerability.
The state attorney also pointed out that Tumuhirwe showed no remorse for her actions, fleeing the scene instead of seeking help for the victim.
