Lil Pazzo Blasts Paying Money (300m) To Kato Lubwama’s Family
Yasin Mukasa, alias Lil Pazzo, has come out to question the family of the late Kato Lubwama. This comes after the family threatened to sue him for plagiarizing the late Lubwama’s song, Kilabe Ebiiso, for his new Irina Wee song.
Lil Pazzo has recently been flirting online with songstress Irene Ntale. Now, in a bid to please her and continue riding on this fame, he decided to copy and paste copyrighted material. However, Kato Lubwama’s family quickly served him with an intention to sue notice.
The family asked the singer to retract the song from all the media channels playing. They also asked him to offer an apology via these same platforms. On top of that, he has to pay 320 million within 14 days of the issuance of the notice.
Furthermore, the Enkudi singer laughed this off and called it a bluff. He asked whether the family was the one that invented Luganda words. According to him, Luganda was started by Kintu and not by any other Muganda. Therefore, nobody can stop another person from speaking the language.
Additionally, the singer said that anyone who doesn’t want their content to be used should lock it inside their heads and not put it out. He went ahead to say that he is okay with others using his songs. And if he ever dies, his son shouldn’t bother people by redoing his music.
Besides, he said that he is too broke to afford all the money he was ordered to pay. He himself has never seen it, and there is no way he can pay for it.
In conclusion, he is going to count the song as business that backfired, but there is no way he will do anything he was instructed to do in the notice.
