Bernardo Silva Extend His Contract With Manchester City
Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has announced his contract extension with the club until June 2026.
The 29-year-old Portuguese international has been consistent and reliable in Pep Guardiola’s squad, winning three trophies last season: the English Premier League, the FA Cup, and the Champions League.
The fears of the star leaving the club have been put to rest as he extends his contract, which will be due in 2025.
With the likes of Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez leaving Etihad Stadium this summer.
Silva has been attracting interest from French clubs Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.
However, the concerns of the midfielder leaving have been resolved and will see him add an extra year to his contract, increasing the number of years spent with Manchester City to nine since joining them from Monaco in a £43m deal.
Bernardo, who has been a to-go player for Pep, is excited as the club offered him an extra year to his contract, giving him more opportunities to work with Pep at the club.

The Portuguese star played a huge role in Manchester City winning three trophies last season, leading to Pep’s keen interest in retaining the talented player at the club for an extra year despite interest from other top clubs in Europe.
