Neymar Jr. Joins Al Hilal From Paris St. Germain
Al Hilal has officially announced the signing of Paris St-Germain forward Neymar Jr. for a $300 million deal for two years.
The Brazilian star’s signing to Saudi Arabia is now one of the biggest signings of the summer.
The contract with Al Hilal:
A $300 million package deal that could rise to $400 million in endorsements and commercials for the player.
At age 31, Neymar Jr. has left the European League for Arabia, which most people consider a poor career choice.
However, With the absence of Messi and Ronaldo in Europe, Neymar, who is just 31 years old, could fill in the blanks and take the lead as the top player in Europe.
Is it a good move for the Brazilian star?
Neymar’s move to Al Hilal has left a huge hole in the list of talented players who left Europe. Joining the likes of Kareem Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo, this move has been criticized as nothing but a money move.
The contract, which is expected to last just 2 years without options for extension, will see the Brazilian star stay in the Middle East until 2025, missing out on Europe’s big leagues.
The European leagues will witness the absence of the top players in the league for the next season, with Ronaldo moving to Al Nasr and Lionel Messi moving to MLS Inter Miami.
The former Paris Saint-Germain forward’s decision to leave came after teammate Kylian Mbappe was integrated back into the team.
In conclusion, Neymar leaves PSG after Playing in 112 games and scoring 82 goals and 50 assists.
