The Premier League continues on Sunday with two big matches after an entertaining Saturday produced seven games, several draws and important movement in the table.
Manchester City maintained their perfect start to the 2026/27 campaign with a narrow victory over Coventry City, while Crystal Palace came from behind to beat Fulham. Newcastle United, Brentford, Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa were among the other teams involved in Saturday’s action.

Newcastle United 2-2 Bournemouth
Newcastle rescued a point against Bournemouth after coming from behind late in the match. Bournemouth have now scored first in each of their opening three league games without winning any of them.
Brentford 1-1 Sunderland
Brentford and Sunderland shared the points after a late Sunderland penalty cancelled out Brentford’s opener.

Brighton 1-1 Leeds United
Leeds missed opportunities to take control of the match before Brighton found an equaliser, leaving both sides with a point.
Fulham 2-3 Crystal Palace
Crystal Palace produced one of Saturday’s biggest comebacks. Fulham led twice but Palace fought back before Ben Chilwell scored the decisive goal to secure their first league win of the season.
Manchester City 1-0 Coventry City
Erling Haaland scored the only goal as Manchester City defeated Coventry to make it three wins from three. The goal was Haaland’s 300th in top-flight club football.
Nottingham Forest 0-0 Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham were held to a goalless draw by Nottingham Forest, extending their difficult start to the season. Spurs have yet to score in their opening three league matches.
Hull City 0-0 Aston Villa
Hull continued their impressive defensive start by keeping another clean sheet, while Aston Villa’s attacking problems continued.

After Saturday’s matches, Manchester City lead the table with nine points from three games. Hull City are second with seven points, while Arsenal and Chelsea occupy third and fourth respectively with six points each.

Premier League Fixtures Today
Sunday brings two matches, with Manchester United travelling to face Everton before Arsenal host Chelsea in a highly anticipated London derby.
Everton vs Manchester United
Kick-off: 5:00pm Uganda time
Everton will look to build on their four points from their opening two matches when they welcome Manchester United.
United have three points from their first two games and will be looking to return to winning ways and climb the table.
The match at Hill Dickinson Stadium kicks off at 2:00pm BST, which is 5:00pm in Uganda.
Arsenal vs Chelsea
Kick-off: 7:30pm Uganda time
The biggest game of Sunday’s Premier League programme sees Arsenal take on Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium.
Both teams have won their opening two league matches and sit among the early leaders, making the London derby an important early-season test.
Arsenal have won their last three meetings with Chelsea, while the Blues are looking to end that run under new manager Xabi Alonso.
The match kicks off at 4:30pm BST, or 7:30pm in Uganda.
What to Watch on Sunday
Manchester City have already opened up a three-point lead at the top, but Sunday’s matches could significantly change the picture behind them.
A win for Arsenal or Chelsea would move the winner onto nine points and put pressure on City at the top of the table. Meanwhile, Manchester United will be hoping to close the gap on the early leaders with a positive result against Everton.
