Real Madrid fans slam Kylian Mbappe after El Clasico defeat
Kylian Mbappe had the ball in the back of the net twice against FC Barcelona. But both times, he was ruled out offside.
Ultimately, that is the closest Real Madrid would come to breaching the defence of Hansi Flick’s high-flying side, who got themselves a statement 4-0 win at Santiago Bernabeu thanks to a brace from Robert Lewandowski as well as goals from Lamine Yamal and Raphinha.
Barcelona are looking unstoppable right now. They got a 4-1 win against Bayern Munich as well in midweek in the Champions League.

But even then, Real Madrid should have done much better. Losing 4-0 at home to your biggest rivals is never acceptable for Los Blancos, and improvements need to take place moving forward.
Mbappe is someone who had a nightmare time against the Barcelona defence. According to ESPN FC, he had a career-high eight offsides in El Clasico.
It would be an understatement to say that Barcelona’s offside trap did wonders on the day. But at the same time, a player of Mbappe’s quality and experience should have made the necessary adjustments.
In conclusion, Real Madrid fans were clearly not happy with the Frenchman’s performance against Barcelona. And they made their feelings known on social media:
mbappe 6 offsides in 30 minutes don’t even think morata’s capable of something like this

Mbappé today –
First touch like Lukaku
Offside awareness like Morata
Finishing like Núñez— Dr Yash  (@YashRMFC) October 26, 2024
Not even joking. I’d rather have a ‘finished’ 39 year old Cristiano Ronaldo up front for us than the ‘best player in the world’, Kylian Mbappé.
Worst money ever spent.
