With less than two weeks to the highly anticipated show “Spice—Queen of Dancehall Live From Jamaica,” set for December 6th, 2025, at Lugogo Cricket Oval, Spice took to her social media platforms to break the news.
The event, organized by Safari Beats with support from the Uganda Ministry of Tourism, Uganda Wildlife Authority, and Buganda Kingdom, was positioned as a major tourism promotion concert expected to draw massive crowds.

According to Spice, the excitement has been cut short due to the promoter’s failure to honor key terms of the contract.
“ATTENTION!!! I will not be attending this event in Uganda 🇺🇬 on December 6th.
I was truly excited and looking forward to meeting my brothers and sisters there, but unfortunately the promoter did not fulfill the contractual agreements,” Spice announced via her socials.
The singer expressed that she had been looking forward to performing for her Ugandan fans, but the unmet obligations left her no choice but to pull out of the show.
The event was expected to feature Uganda’s top female stars—Sheebah, Winnie Nwagi, and Cindy Sanyu—making it one of the most anticipated concerts of the year. The show was also projected to boost Uganda’s tourism sector by leveraging Spice’s global star power.
In conclusion, we shall update our dear followers on what exactly led to her cancelation of the concert in Uganda.
