Victor Osimhen wins Napoli their first Scudetto
On Thursday nights, Victor Osimhen made history as he was winning for Napoli their first Scudetto since 1990 after securing a draw against Udinese.
Victor Osimhen’s second goal brought history in Italy.
The previous weekend, Napoli were supposed to be declared champions but unfortunately they made a draw against Salernitana and this denied them a chance of being declared as champions.
Its a Pitty that their legend died last year, Maladona. It woul be a great victory if the legend was still alive.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis told the crowd during the victory that “You always told me, ‘We want to win,’ and now we’ve won. We’ve won all together,”.
It was great pleasure for the great team to win because they have been consistent and they deserved the win.
More than 60,000 supporters were at Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples, where the match was shown on big screens to see their players.
Police had banned fireworks but that did not stop the Neapolitan from celebrating their victory after the Referee blew the final whistle of the Udinese game.
Victor told us that ” I am happy that we have won the league. Am going to live a happy life for the rest of the season and to see what next for next season. The Neoptrians, this victory belongs to you,”.
In conclusion, we are happy that the Nigeria star Victor Osimhen brought victory for the supporters of Napoli
