Its now on record that Masaka road is now the leading death rate place to the citizens of Uganda. As we are still in the festival season, today morning an accident has happened in Kayabwe along Masaka road which has left five people dead.
The accident happened today morning on 26th December at around 7:30am at Kibukuta Swamp which is along the Masaka-Kampala highway. Due to over speeding by the Toyota Hiace driver of registration number plate UBM 489B colliding with a Mercedes Benz driver of registration number plate UAM 445B leading to an accid ent.
The reporters of uncovered news interacted with the people around where the accident happened and they told us that “The main cause of the accident is over speeding by both vehicles. The Mercedes Benz driver lost control and collided with the Toyota Hiace which made both vehicles to turn over the road. Both drivers were over speeding”. What a deadly accident it was !

The deceased have not been identified yet because the faces are not clear. 3 females and 2 males are dead. others have been rushed to the Nkozi Hospital for medication. Lets wish them a quick recovery.
ASP Faridah Nampiima who is the traffic and road safety officer has requested all the road users to be vigirant and observe maximum road discipline during this festival season to ensure that they drive well to reduce on the accidents.
