The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has issued a final call for schools to register their candidates for the 2025 national examinations.
According to Jennifer Kalule-Musamba, Principal Public Relations Officer at UNEB, schools that have not yet registered all their candidates should do so before midnight on Sunday, June 15, 2025.
Kalule-Musamba emphasized that the government will not pay surcharges for government-aided schools, making it essential for them to register all their learners during this period. She also reminded schools to verify the accuracy of candidates’ biodata and ensure that correct high-resolution photographs are attached.

“The board advises heads of primary and secondary school examination centers who have not yet duly registered all their learners to do so before the deadline,” Kalule-Musamba said. “We urge schools to take advantage of this opportunity to register their candidates without incurring surcharges.”
“We advise those uploading candidates’ biodata to carefully verify the accuracy of the data submitted,”
Kalule-Musamba told Uncovered Ug news reporters that “They should look out for the spelling and order of names, date of birth as per the UNEB prescribed format of Date/Month/Year, gender, institutional choices, and ensure that the correct high-resolution photograph is attached for each of the candidates.”
The board has so far registered 1,372,015 candidates for the 2025 examinations, and Kalule-Musamba encouraged schools to contact UNEB’s call center or visit their offices for any assistance.
In conclusion, we call upon all schools to participate in the registration activity before the deadline day.
