The United Kingdom is set to host the 15th edition of the UK–Africa Business, Trade & Investment Summit on September 12, 2025, at the Royal Horseguards Hotel in London, with Uganda among key focus countries for investment and trade partnerships.
Key sectors on the agenda include oil & gas, minerals & mining, agriculture & agri-tech, renewable energy, tourism, fintech, ICT, infrastructure, and industrialization—areas where Uganda continues to present emerging opportunities for foreign direct investment (FDI).
This year’s summit is expected to unlock billions of dollars in trade and investment deals, with targeted sessions on bankable projects in Uganda and other East African economies.

Speaking ahead of the event, organizers said the summit is designed to “deepen UK–Africa commercial relations and accelerate strategic partnerships across sectors driving Africa’s next decade of growth.”
Participants in the summit include government ministers and senior officials from Uganda and other African nations, international investors, venture capitalists and private equity firms, CEOs, project developers, diaspora entrepreneurs, infrastructure financiers, policy advisors, analysts, and development institutions.
The 2025 edition aims to expand market access for African exports, increase capital inflow for transformative ventures, and create cross-border partnerships that boost innovation and inclusive development.
