Renowned music producer Didi, whose real name is Abdul Karim Muchwa, has dismissed rumors suggesting that he took his own life. This morning, netizens were stunned by reports claiming that the veteran producer had ended his life due to depression, following his recent public declaration of being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS.

In a phone interview with one of our correspondents, Didi refuted these allegations, labeling them as baseless and untrue. He emphasized that he remains committed to his life’s mission: to eradicate the stigma surrounding HIV in Uganda and to foster a supportive environment for those affected by the virus.

Didi, known for his resilience and advocacy, continues to champion awareness through his “Living with HIV” movie series. These films, which he regularly shares across his social media platforms, aim to educate and inform the public about HIV/AIDS, dispel myths, and encourage a more compassionate approach to those living with the virus.
