Kampala— During a widely attended crossover service broadcast live on Christ FM and RTV, Pastor Ronnie Makabai, founder of ETM Church International, declared 2026 as the beginning of a “new era” and introduced a prophetic principle he called “Code 6.” The message centered on divine timing and how believers can align themselves with God’s spiritual calendar to experience transformation in their lives.

The event, held at the church’s headquarters in Mutundwe, drew thousands of worshippers and online viewers, including journalists from local and international media houses. Among them was Sadat Ogoye, who, alongside Amanda Tana, posed a double-barreled question to Pastor Makabai: how can believers apply Code 6 to improve their livelihoods, and why is 2026 specifically identified as a new era?

In his response, Pastor Makabai said, “It’s a new era because the time of God has come. This is not a political calendar—it’s a divine one. Seasons shift not because of governments or world events, but because of the spiritual schedule of heaven.” He explained that “Code 6” represents a divine invitation for believers to align with God’s will through discipline, discernment, and prophetic understanding. The pastor urged the faithful to listen to spiritual instruction, act with wisdom, and remain grounded in scripture as they navigate the unfolding season.

“Code 6 is not superstition. It’s a code of divine alignment. When you understand your season, you stop operating in confusion,” Pastor Makabai emphasized. He added that many people miss their breakthroughs because they fail to recognize or respond to spiritual timing.

Rather than focusing on external change, the pastor urged congregants to look inward—shifting their mindsets, strengthening their prayer lives, and pursuing purpose with clarity. “This is the time for the prepared. Those who walk in the spirit will lead in this era,” he said.

His message struck a chord with many, as 2026 begins amid global uncertainties and domestic challenges. The emphasis on spiritual responsibility and preparedness resonated especially with young people seeking direction in a rapidly changing world. Pastor Makabai concluded by encouraging believers not to fear the new season but to embrace it with faith, strategy, and spiritual maturity. “The world will see the difference in those who understand the times,” he said.
