Manchester United are interested in signing Wolves striker Matheus Cunha during the summer for a fee of £62.5 million to outcompete Hojlund, who has failed to deliver.
However, Cunha has made 31 appearances for Wolves this season, scoring 16 goals and assisting four times to put him on the radar of the Premier League giants.
