King Saha Clarifies His Fans On Ibanda Concert Scuffle

Uganda’s best male artist King Saha, has come out to respond to the reports surrounding the scuffle of his show which was in Ibanda on Saturday, March 22

However, he has dismissed the news as “false news”, whereby the media reports that he was attacked and beaten up for infusing politics in his performance.

The incident occurred during his performance at the newly opened Kanuzire Lounge in the western town.

“I saw the reports, but I am surely not the kind of person to randomly start beating up. The news was false.”

He clarified that he and his team had arrived early in the day, and if they were not welcome, they would have been asked to leave long before the performance began.

The audience, which included many of his fans, he said, was in high spirits and enjoying the show.

The Incident During the ‘Sala Pressure’ Performance While performing his hit song “Sala Pressure”, King Saha says he noticed a man in the crowd who began acting aggressively and causing trouble.

“My fans started beating him up,” King Saha recalled. Additionally, I tried to ignore it, but the beating continued. That is when I stopped and went to save that person.

“All the video clips you saw, that was me trying to pull that man from the revellers. If I had not intervened, he could have been killed. If I had not intervened, he could have been killed,” he added.

In conclusion, King Saha also revealed to Uncovered Ug that there were concerns about the sound quality, but later, the problem was resolved.
