Veteran Spyda MC has revealed that it’s his time to shine now. The Lugaflow/Hip-Hop singer has been around for quite some time. He says that he’s been in the music industry for 18 years.
However, the rapper has mostly been on social media, especially Facebook, where he wasn’t that viral. Additionally, he’s just now getting recognition, and many people are getting to understand him.
He used to rap with another veteran rapper, Babaluku. Speaking to a local TV station, Spyda MC believes that now is probably the time God made for him to shine. And whenever that time comes, nobody can really stop it.
Furthermore, the singer was asked why the public hadn’t embraced him, and he said that’s beyond his control. As of now, he’s working on a new album, and he’s open to collaborating with other artists if they reach out.
The rapper was also asked if he also has EGGALI (a large procession of thug-like people musicians usually move with). The singer said that he doesn’t; he only has brothers who listen to him when he advises them.
He told our news reporters that “I had not yet gotten the recognition, probably because God’s timing wasn’t ripe. But I believe it has come, and when it does, nobody can say no. I’m now working on my new album, and I’m open to working with other singers. They can reach out to me, and we draft projects.”.
In conclusion, he views music as a passion and talent, not a war zone. However, he said that he’s not opposed to the idea of having one, especially for those artists who attack each other on social media. It’s good for their protection.
