Hon. Muhammad Nsereko, Kampala central member of parliament, has revealed that he is going to make sure that his late best friend Kato Lubwama’s legacy endures.
However, he said people often forget a creative who worked so hard to take the entertainment industry to another level when they die.
Nsereko promised Lubwama before he died that he would make sure people still remembered him every day. Kato Lubwama died one year ago after a heart attack. He had prepared a concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel to celebrate all his work for almost 30 years. Unfortunately, he didn’t get to the day of the celebration.

According to Hon. Nsereko, the work will be released in honor of the late entertainer, and people will be buying it. He said that he wants to make sure that young people know Kato Lubwama and how talented he is.
“It has been one year since Kato Lubwama died, but we who are still living have to carry on his legacy. Before and after his death, I promised him that I would make sure he was remembered. That is what I am doing right now.”
During his burial, Hon. Muhammad Nsereko said he used to talk to Lubwama every day. He knew all his plans and what he wanted to do in the future.
In conclusion, the late comedian left so much content that wasn’t released to the public. It involved written books, poems, plays, and even recorded music.
