South Korea’s Jeju Air Plane that was about to land successfully got crushed and led to the loss of 179 lives out of 181 passengers, leaving only two survivors.
Maeng Gi-Su’s festive trip to Thailand with his nephew and his nephew’s two sons, meant to celebrate the end of their college entrance exams, turned into a devastating tragedy.
The 78-year-old Maeng expressed disbelief and profound sorrow at the sudden disappearance of his entire family.

The ill-fated flight 7C2216 from Bangkok to Muan International Airport ended tragically as the Boeing 737-800 skidded off the runway, crashing into a wall upon landing.
Among the victims were passengers aged between three and 78 years old, with the majority in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. The passengers, including five children under 10 years old, were returning home after celebrating the Christmas holidays in Thailand.
Heart-wrenching accounts emerged from the Jeju Air plane crash, revealing the personal tragedies of those onboard. Family members spanning multiple generations, like Jongluk Doungmanee’s relatives, faced unimaginable losses.
The survivors, including a 33-year-old male and a 25-year-old female flight attendant, endured injuries but managed to survive the ordeal.
