Diamond Platnumz dedicates Aziz Zion’s song Nkumira Omukwano’ to his ex-girlfriend Zari Hassan. She appreciated her for raising his children in a good parental way.
On the much-anticipated night of Friday, July 14th, 2023, a sensational event took place at the Kololo Independence Grounds in Uganda. The Comedy Store Fundraising Concert titled Diamond Platnumz In UG finally unfolded, and it was a night to remember.
The stage was graced by a multitude of talented musicians, not only from Uganda but from all over East Africa. Some of the notable performers included Diamond Platnumz himself, alongside Nameless, Karole Kasita, Winnie Nwagi, Spice Diana, and many more.
However, the climax of the night arrived when Diamond Platnumz mesmerized the crowd with his rendition of Aziz Azion’s Nkumira Omukwano, dedicating it to the mother of his two children, Zari Hassan. This heartfelt gesture reignited the emotions associated with their separation, leaving the audience in awe.
Additionally, this memorable event was adorned with numerous exceptional moments, one of which was the uproarious comedy session featuring renowned comedy groups such as Maulana and Reign, Madrat and Chico, Bizonto, and Eric Omondi.
In the midst of his awe-inspiring performance, Diamond Platnumz took the audience by surprise as he performed renditions of songs by various Ugandan musicians. One such song was Jose Chameleone’s Mama Mia, which served as a heartfelt tribute to the legendary artist’s enduring legacy.
