News reaching our platform confirms that a Buyende LC I vice chairperson is recovering in hospital after allegedly being attacked by his two wives following an infidelity dispute
51-year-old Robert Bebwa, the Vice Chairperson of LC I of Butayunjwa B Village, Buyanja Sub-County, in Buyende District, is nursing wounds after his two wives allegedly attacked him and inflicted wounds on his private parts over his alleged infidelity.
According to the Busoga North Regional Police spokesperson, SSP Samson Lubega, the women, identified as Naluvuma Esther, 44, and Nakayunja Norah, 53, allegedly waylaid and attacked their husband in a planned attack on Monday.

It is alleged that the attack followed a domestic dispute arising from accusations of infidelity against the victim.
During the incident, the suspects allegedly assaulted the victim and inflicted serious injuries using a sharp object, causing severe wounds to his private parts.
SSP Lubega noted that both suspects were arrested as police embarked to investigate a case of unlawful wounding.
He noted that Bebwa is currently receiving treatment at Kidera Health Centre IV, where he was rushed by residents after the incident.
Lubega further condemned acts of violence, particularly domestic-related violence, and urged the public to resolve disputes through lawful and peaceful means.
