Bruno Fernandes To Join Real Madrid In The Summer

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes may leave the club, as Real Madrid is reportedly considering a £90 million transfer for the club captain.

However, the Portuguese playmaker has struggled to restore the club’s former glory, and their standings in the Premier League have gradually declined. If recent rumours are accurate, he may be playing in La Liga during the 2025/26 season.

According to the Daily Star, representatives from Real Madrid have been attending nearly every Manchester United match, both home and away, to scout Bruno Fernandes performances. While they are currently in second place in La Liga, tied on 63 points with leaders Barcelona, the club is allegedly planning a major revamp this summer.

Furthermore, Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold is also on their radar as they seek to strengthen their squad with some of the world’s top talent. Fernandes is reportedly being considered as a potential replacement for 39-year-old Luka Modric, whose contract with Real Madrid expires this summer.

The decision regarding Fernandes’ future rests with Manchester United, especially since his contract runs until 2027 with an option to extend for another year. A £90 million transfer would set a new sales record for the Red Devils.
