News reaching our platform confirms that two terrorists have today, Tuesday, 3 June 2025, been neutralized in Munyonyo by UPDF soldiers.
However, the two died following an explosion suspected to be a bomb. The development has been confirmed by the acting Defence Public Information Officer, Chris Magezi, via his Twitter handle.
As the country remembers the annual Martyrs Day, those near the Munyonyo Martyrs shrine have experienced an utter shock following the death of two yet-to-be-identified people.

Chris Magezi revealed to undercover journalists that “One of the terrorists, a female, was a suicide bomber laden with powerful explosives.”
He revealed that it was an intelligence-led operation, and the security services are on heightened alert to ensure the Martyrs Day celebrations at Munyonyo Martyrs Shrine proceed without disruption.
