Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti is close to reaching an agreement with the Brazilian federation to join them and leave Real Madrid at the end of the season before the start of the Club World Cup.
Despite having a contract until 2026, the Italian’s farewell to the Santiago Bernabeu is closer than ever after the painful defeat against the ‘Cules,’ and many are already pointing to an almost imminent departure to Brazil.
Initially, the intentions of the CBF and Ancelotti were to unite their paths until the 2026 World Cup, but the Brazilian body wants to go further and will offer him a highly remunerated contract until the 2030 World Cup.

According to’ Sky Sports’ and ‘Relevo’, the arrival of the Italian coach to the Brazilian national team is practically a done deal, and it could be announced in a few weeks that Ancelotti will be the new coach of the ‘Selecao’.

His departure from the Spanish capital, according to various reports, will take place in May, probably at the end of La Liga, although the announcement could come in the first week of the month.
In conclusion, this would mean that Ancelotti would not be in charge of Real Madrid at this summer’s Club World Cup, with the competition being the responsibility of the next coach of Real Madrid, with Xabi Alonso starting as the favorite to take over the reins of the team from the capital.
