As the school term is on the way, Bobi Wine donates books and scholastic materials to support children of arrested foot soldiers, showing care for education and the next generation.
In a remarkable display of unity and compassion, Bobi Wine has provided scholastic materials to the children of arrested foot soldiers. Recognizing the challenges these children face due to circumstances beyond their control, the musician and politician emphasized the importance of education as a foundation for a better future.
The initiative highlights the toll political detention has taken on ordinary Ugandans. Families have lost income, stability, and security, while children often struggle with trauma and the disruption of their education.

Speaking at the event, Bobi Wine encouraged the children to stay focused on their studies and never lose hope, saying that education remains a powerful tool to shape their destiny. The donated materials included textbooks, exercise books, writing tools, and other essential learning supplies.
At his home in Magere, the atmosphere was both hopeful and solemn. Children, some shy and others animated, gathered with their guardians as the NUP leader distributed essential supplies.
Books, pens, soap, sanitary pads, and even loaves of bread were provided, alongside financial contributions to cover school fees.

In conclusion, this gesture highlights Bobi Wine’s commitment not only to political activism but also to social responsibility and community support, ensuring that even in difficult times, children have the resources to continue learning.
