Alexander Isak has resumed training with Newcastle United after missing the club’s preseason tour of Asia. Officially sidelined due to a thigh injury, the Swedish striker’s absence coincided with mounting speculation over a potential move to Liverpool.
However, Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing the 25-year-old forward and are said to have tabled a staggering €138 million bid. Despite the player’s apparent desire to make the switch to Anfield, Newcastle remains firm in their stance: Isak is not for sale.
Speaking to the Uncovered Ug media team in an interview, Howe delivered a pointed message aimed at reinforcing discipline and team ethics within his squad, perhaps with Isak in mind: “You have to earn the right to train with us.
